About The Training:
Mental health therapists are among the select group of people who truly make a difference in people’s lives. Few other professions afford the opportunity to impact lives on such a profound level, not only mentally but emotionally and spiritually. Yet the same qualities that make being a therapist so deeply rewarding can also make it a challenge, over time, to sustain your energy and passion. The Inspired Therapist session is designed to ignite your passion and recapture those elusive qualities if they are waning or sustain and leverage passion for those who still love what they do.
During the session we will address why we chose this profession in the first place and how to stay in love with that decision. Dr. McKinley will lead you through a lively, engaging, experienced based session aimed at recharging your vision and mission of healing hearts. Attendees will learn:
- What is the healthy compelling attraction to being a therapist.
- Why burnout is so prevalent among therapists and how to navigate through it.
- Discover and adjust beliefs that are derailing you or potentially could.
- Learn how to continuously inspire yourself.
