Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM): Crisis Orientation Course (3 hours): The CISM: Crisis Orientation Course will provide an overview of the CISM program. It will help the attendee know what to expect and how to work with crisis workers responding to the crisis situation. More about this training
Impact of Trauma on Students and Staff (1 hour): Educators, whose focus is on teaching, are frequently and unexpectedly faced with students whose lives have been exposed to trauma and loss. The impact this can have on the student, the teacher, or the classroom can vary tremendously. Educators are not always prepared for this, and most do not have specific training in this area.
