The complicated issues of sexual addiction require multi-strategy approaches, available for both addict and spouse, in individual or couples sessions. Components of the therapy include:
- a thorough assessment
- neuropsychology testing to assess specific sexual dysfunctions and addictions
- processing issues such as denial, personal and relational turmoil
- treatment of the underlying causes of sexual addiction, impulse control and honest relationship to self and others
- coordination with local recovery groups

Mark’s training includes post-graduate study at Psychological Studies Institute. His areas of focus include basic sexuality and sexual dysfunctions, advanced sexual addictions treatment and sexual identity confusion. With over 16 years of experience, Mark excels in treating behavioral problems with adult individuals or couples and is skilled in integrating faith-based counseling and psychotherapy.
Dr. Braun has obtained postdoctoral training in identifying and treating sexual dysfunctions and sexual addictions from the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals. She has considerable experience in treating Anxiety, Depression and Marriage & Family problems. With over 22 years of experience, Dr. Braun is known for her ability to integrate faith with clinical issues.
